It was a privilege for MEDraysintell to take part in the “Beyond Electricity: Nuclear medicine, a new leading actor in the fight against cancer” session at WNE 2025.

Our Head of Nuclear Medicine BU, Nicolas Mario, shared insights on the structure and complexity of radiopharmaceutical supply chains. He highlighted the multitude of actors involved, the high technical requirements, especially in radionuclide production, where numerous innovations are ongoing, and the critical need for sustainable infrastructures.
Nicolas also emphasized that as nuclear medicine continues to grow, strong support from the civil nuclear sector will be essential to reinforce these supply chains and sustain this vital field.

The discussion clearly outlined the pivotal role of nuclear medicine in developing more precise and targeted cancer therapies.

As christophe selliez, VP Strategy at Lemer Pax, summarized: “The nuclear industry is joining forces with nuclear medicine to advance together in the fight against cancer.”
